Ancient China, Liao Dynasty, 907 - 1125 AD. A fine Terracotta Buddha plaque. It depicts three Buddhas seated upon lotus leaves, decorative and floral designs in between. Measures 2 5/8Ó tall, nice light tone, earthen deposits and light root marks. A highly sought-after type. From the collection of Franke Zollman.
